How a study works

One method, whatever the subject — a brand’s imagery, a line of copy, a model’s output, a product flow, or an agent under attack. VIVID puts personified agents — synthetic people with real demographics, personality, and voice — in front of the work and records how they react. The studies below are the cuts we’ve made public; the same method runs on yours.

01

Compose the panel

Personified agents are selected to match the audience — or the adversary — the question needs. The panel is built for the study, not reused from the last one.

02

Put the work in front of them

They read copy, look at images, watch video, listen to audio, use a product, or probe an agent. Compass panels react and judge; Shield panels attack and stress-test.

03

Capture the reasoning

Every agent records a structured reaction and a reasoning diary — often blind first, then with brand or context revealed — so you see not just what moved, but why.

04

Publish what holds

Reactions are aggregated, de-duplicated, and pressure-tested, then written up — verdict, method, limitations. Real data only; foreseeable studies are killed before they run.

Evaluate it before your users — or your attackers — do.
